What is it?

The Reading Circle is a digital TV service for housebound readers which started in 2002.

Where is The Reading Circle based and who runs it?

Based in West Yorkshire the service is coordinated by one of its readers, Carol Lawrence.

How does it work?

Each month readers share their views on a nominated reading selection online, via post, email or the Looking Local service on digital TV. Readers can also share their thoughts about reading in general and post their own writing. Thus housebound people and those who live in different places across the region can come together to share their enjoyment of reading.
