Kids Team Read To See Latics

Children taking part in this year's Summer Reading Challenge, Team Read, at Oldham Libraries will have the chance to win tickets to see Oldham Athlectic on completing the challenge.

Latics have kindly donated up to 600 family tickets (1 adult and a child) to Oldham Libraries for their home game against Scunthorpe on 28 October! Plus the library that sees the most children completing will enjoy a visit from a Latics Player!

Team Read, this year's Summer Reading Challenge, is simple - children sign up to read six books borrowed from their local library during the summer. Participants are given a special pack and a set of incentives to collect as they read, with a certificate and medal for those that successfully complete the Challenge. If more than 600 children comple this year, the 600 lucky latics winners will be pulled from a hat.

Every year there's a different theme. This year's Team Read theme is keeping children in the race over the summer when it comes to reading, improving their reading range, confidence and enjoyment. With Team GB gearing up for the Beijing Olympics, successful Team Readers will be able to boast that they've beaten our top sports people whtn it comes to winning medals!
