Every Child A Reader: KPMG’s Foundation, which is separate to KPMG, focuses on education and social projects for the disadvantaged and under privileged, with particular emphasis on unlocking the potential of children and young people. The Foundation’s Every Child A Reader programme is a unique partnership between charitable trusts, business and government. The initiative is funding highly-skilled Reading Recovery teachers in primary schools to provide intensive help to children most in need.

The initiative shows that, with the right resources, the literacy difficulties that blight many children’s lives can be tackled.
